More medicine please.

Or maybe even just additions on the existing system. Liquids for instance. Honey and vinegar were both used as antiseptics, to clean wounds and keep them from getting infections in ancient times. - Maybe some honeyed bandages to boost healing rates of otherwise unremarkable gauze? (Honey wraps?) - Or boiling old bloody gauze in a cauldron to clean and disinfect them. (Possibly with the vinegar)

Just small musings.

Honey is truly a gift from the gods. It is perfect in its simplistic golden nature.

Yes to honey and vinegar being healing items. I would suggest that these aren't flat increases but change in functionality. Some musings of my own:

A honey wrap can be used for deep cuts and fell slashes. It is faster on higher damage wounds but slower on lighter ones (anti-septics are somewhat indiscriminate)

Honey can be used on its own to heal deep cuts at 1/3 the rate, or added onto treated wounds to acquire the aforementioned effect.

Vinegear can be utilized in the stitched patch recipe to increase its effectiveness.

Boiling a bloody rag in a cauldron reduces its quality but makes it reusable.

Infected wounds can treated with the addition of vinegear (high effectiveness) or honey (low effectiveness)

This also means that infected wounds are, by consequence, slow to heal.

For newly starting characters / some hermitages, this would be a godsend. Because finding wild sheep sucks some days.

Back in these times people had no clue about bacterias causing infections.. whole that gauze boiling process would feel just.. weird and out of place.

However, honey is good. Badger fat was well known for numerous health benefits either. Opiates for killing pain? Still waiting and excited for that.

How about stims? For less stamina drain and increased perception and int?

Gooks have ginseng
Spics chew coca leaves and bake maca cookies
Spooks enjoy khat for noradrenergic rush
How about mighty whitey in Europe? There should be some stimulating herbs here. Lets boil that spindle root in pot at least, for some minor energizing benefits.

Nature has tons of herbs and animals products that are use for healing.
Let some advanced/efficient healing methods be opened by druidic rite.
Some basic methods can be part of a new skill which will be a prerequisite for Druidic rite.

People in ancient times were not clueless berks and both vinegar and honey has been in use to treat infections since BC times, sometimes even in a combination called Oxymel.
And where did I say anything about bacteria, the boiling is simply to clean the gauze. - How else would you get blood out of wool? Rubbing it on a rock? I don't want to use crusty old blood-soaked bandages on my fresh injuries.

This.

Also, it was a crude process but on ancient and medieval times heated metal were used to cauterize deep wounds that would otherwise bleed to death, the process was extremely painfull and left quite a nasty scar, but could close really bad wounds that would lead to death otherwise.

Also, boiled wine has been used to clean festered wounds.

There could also be added new medicinal plants, that could be used to make different kinds of medicines, that would both work for different wounds and also have increased healing value.
