I do think that would help it somewhat tbh, but it is still odd looking, maybe make it smaller? Idk, I'd still rather have a sign beside it than how it looks at present.

I haven't even tried the sketchbook stuff tbh, lol, it just sounds complicated to me .... :(

It is like in Lord of the Flies, nobody controlls what is going on in the hearthlands, those weaker and with conscience are just fucked.

Discovering stuff and having stuff are, as they say in Odessa, two large differences. Why would I request items if I already have them?

Play a bit more and you'll find out.

Do you mean quality? It doesn't really matter. What if I am a blacksmith and I want to sell my stuff in exchange for delicious pancakes I cannot cook? Ok, I can get one for the sake of a bad game design choice. But this does not justify this design. J&L added two abstract items for the interface, why cannot I choose an abstract cookie I don't physically own requesting it in exchange?

There are valid reasons why you could buy stuff even when already having, or knowing it - that was my point. Your example proves it.

But you might have, depending on perspective, a point about not being able to select an item you don't know (not discovered by you).

Where is the fun in case you can browse a complete list of items in the game as a new character? Or as a developed one to see what is new after an update?
That's at least Loftar's point, he said he dosn't want to transfer the whole list of seen items every time you manage a vendor.

Every day in our village I eat meal that I cannot cook myself. Why is it impossible in the case of good neighbor bartering in big villages and cities Loftar is dreaming of? Nonsence
