More advance hunting

Postby CaveInGames » Fri Jan 22, 2016 8:55 pm

I have been hunting a lot of boars and bears lately, soon i realized how much more the combat can be flushed out. Practically ranged combat. It can be kind of tedious especially if it goes out of your mini map range and when you think you found its just a different boar. So i have an idea maybe you could add bleeding mechanics in the game, Every time you hit with a weapon you have a chance to inflict bleeding witch then you could track the animals like what you can do with criminal acts. Then you could also add injures to the animal like if you broke its leg it would run slow maybe? Or if you injure an eye they have a less of a chance to hit those things would be awesome and really improve combat and make it a little bit more fun! So if you read this post maybe you could implement. this in the game.

Would love to see injuries like this for animals, maybe even players. Or a combat card that slows the target, or just make it where players with heavy amounts of wounds move slower, chasing bears that are running with rage is...enraging (har har), especially at the speed they run, and the fact they spawn on forest tiles, so sprinting is out of the question.

[*] Develop animal AI further, and add scarier monsters. Make animals leave blood trails when they run, make them more aggressive when wounded, try to remove some of the obvious exploits used against them.
Enjoy!
