Saying a "large farm" is entirely relative. And none of the formula have been established yet.

the point still stands, no matter the formula if there is a gauge that caps how often you can do things it will just lead to more alts and more bots

We can just add a turing test to game. :roll:

While the idea is funny in the mechanic, a bot writer worth his salt will circumvent it with some lines of code, after that it'll only impact people who do not run the bot.

suicide is a good idea, signed.
The low life has lost its appeal
And I'm tired of walking these streets
To a room with its cupboards bare

This kills the farmer.
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

stop promoting suicide xD

anyways this idea sounds stupid because salem has something like it and most of the playerbase hates it xD
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

Looking over this wonderful suggestion, I've come to the conclusion that it would be too easy to prevent suicide by hiding ropes. I feel that there should be more tools for suicide. e.g. pulling a traveller's sack over one's head, impaling yourself with a weapon, breaking your fingers with heavy tools, using a belt for strangulation. Also, extreme levels of tedium should make the character bite its tongue and bleed to death unless treated by a kinsman with the first-aid skill, some gauze and enough CHA, INT, and DEX.

This is a version of Salem insanity mechanic and all i can say is shove this idea up your ass. it only discourages game play and hurts players, tedium should only exist for the player in the real world, if the activity is mind numbing then its up to them to find something else to do.
