Localized wounds and scars.

Mainly for fell slash and deep cut. Having to wait a long time to get rid of 4 deep cuts while chain bandaging my head just feels strange.

Having my wounds tab say Deep Cut Left Arm 13 and being able to apply gauze to my left arm slot at the same time I treat a Fell Slash in my torso would make wound treatment faster and with more flavor.

Speaking of flavor: Scars.
Having a button bellow my wounds window that show a log of the nastier wounds you suffered, where it is and what or who caused it. Quite dwarf fortress-ish.

A full log of sword, axe and bear claw scars would always be impressive.

And if you don't think scars would make a difference, remember him:

+1 - yes, I've also thought we should be able to apply in gauze in more than one slot and I love the idea of a wounds catalogue!

I like the idea of more localized wounds for healing purposes.

But, nearly every character would be a mangled mess, if scars would become a thing.

I advice to be careful with wishing for scars. I think these devs can making those permanent debuffs. This is something they would doing.

That's why only nasty wounds would result in scars.

Which would make sense to me. Still, I don't wish for debuffs. If there is something I noticed about permanent things in haven is death and death only. But I might be wrong.

+1 to gauze being useable across the whole body. Do want chest bandages, arm bandages, leg bandages, etc.

A log of scars would be mildly interesting. A debuff as a result of scars would be kinda unrealistic and cruel.

In ancient times scars were considered as badges of honor and bravery, in fact, a warrior that had no scars was either a young man in his first battle or a total coward who has most likely fled from combat to avoid his untimely death at the cost of his comrades, older warriors that had no scars were shunned and mocked as scum and outcasted at every opportunity.

A wound is a wound I really don't care about that much detail. I don't object to it but its just not a priority in my mind.
