A little late, but what the fuck is a grub pie and what do you need to discover to craft it? I am unable.

what I read:
blablabla alt vault
Blablabla 125k could be used on raising char skills

What I see in-game: vandal alts using catapults to siege
Vandal alts using rams to siege
Vandal alts breaking walls to raid
Vandal alts building timber-houses in front of gates to lock defenders inside their palisades while siege goes on

If you don't use your main character to siege and raid, why should you be able to get loot?
Risk vs reward... if there's no risk, why should be there a reward? If there's a reward, why should be there no risks?

What most ppl are saying here is: let us use freshly made alt characters to siege and raid anyone we want without risking our main characters, but getting tons of things to use on our main characters.
Let us use alt characters to spy, siege and raid without risking to leave scents on our mains, but don't let anyone use alts to save their things.

And don't say most of you here would use those 125k LP to "develop skills" as everybody know most here are, if not on skill cap at combat, close to it! Ppl often posts screenshots of 100k+LP study reports on screens thread at in of brodgar...

I really agree that alt vaulting IS a cheap and stupid trick that prevent raiders from looting... but it's as CHEAP as using vandal alts to siege and raid in safety. And I don't see anyone arguing about vandal alts removing the danger from sieging here...

Let's be real... almost nobody wants the game mechanics to work in both ways... ppl just want game mechanics to work on THEIR way.

About the "no one raid newbies"... c'mon, everybody knows this ain't truth. Ppl here raid and kill newbies just for the fun of it, not for the loot. We've seen this kind of thing happening over and over, but still big war factions deny that some ppl just kill and raid newbs for FUN.
Nothing wrong with it at all, but denying it is dumb.

I had 3 friends who lived in a small settlement, and they were constantly being attacked, despite the fact their biggest triumph was to get a q30 meatgrinder and none of them had real combat stats to face off aggressors.

I assume you will need butter. Have you discover this one?

Yep. Butter, wine, vinegar - anything extravagant I could think of it taking. What's the recipe?

I do not know. I am missing butter so this was my guess.

Surprisingly, you have to loot a Grub to get the discovery. The recipe is "3 Grubs, .50 water, .35 flour"

I guess it just doesn't count discoveries from before the update. Silly.

Maybe add the torchpost back in as well? I always found them useful/neat to have. I used them often.
