Maybe but just removing that out of no where causes issues for many players

I'll console myself by force feeding blueberry pies to myself for a week straight I suppose.

Thanks for increasing my stats!
As a no alts player this is wonderful I can more easily bolster my various stats which previously required me to afk study just to keep up.
Crafting sets is much less grind than putting 5 alts to study and learn different skills for minmaxing.
It puts less pressure on me to create alts.

One clear oversight has been the fact that 2 slot items(capes) have no real benefit at this point other than looking like a bearman or catman.
Im sure you already have some fix in mind. I would like to point out again how you fixed foods to give +2 stat.
Giving 2x stat bonus to 2 slot items just makes sense.

Great update!

Why does every patch that comes out this games grows closer and closer to Salem?
You're fucking destroying this game like holy shit, I can't decide what's worse? The fact you decide to add one good thing in one patch but in the next you fuck up like 4 things! It's it's outlaw shit then red handed people were mad so you brought in charter stones to release teleport but next world you make it so we still have to walk across the whole world to get there once only to realize we don't have enough charisma to teleport because you removed stats on clothes. You added a bonfire then next patch nerfed every food so hard with this double satiation bullshit that now we eat 2 cheese and i get a massive debuff. I don't know how many times you have to hear it from your 300 person player base (btw the player count is dropping faster then trolls mom on Fridays) but this game will soon be so unplayable. So wake the fuck up

(6 patches later and combat still hasn't been fixed but thank fuck I can stockpile sand)

I agree with you on this one, even while clothes had the cha buff you still probably wouldn't have enough to port half the world

What were you thinking?
Worst update ever!
This essentially takes all my hard grind time spent on raising stats and acquiring resources to make the garments I needed and flushes it down the toilet. Not to mention killing a lot of reasons for trade. With something like this all clothing should be able to be made with cheap fiber crops instead and only "made" special once you embellish it. What's happened here doesn't give an opportunity to make things unique for a characters appearance, it just makes it all rubbish. Making something unique in appearance would be adding buttons, allowing things to be dyed different colours etc.. these are not things that should affect the usefullness of an item. The base attributes of gear should not have been removed.

To be honest, I quite like the new gilding system. I think it should have more variety in Gild pieces but that aside it seems to be a plus for the player. In the end we get to make better equipment than we had before if we put enough effort in. The only downside is that we need more gilding variety like I said, and that it was an overnight addition without any prior mention of it.

1) You still need high quality equipment to not cap the bonuses the gilding provides. 2) The only argument that you have really is that gear should have 'some' base stats, like ranger capes and such as to make them worth crafting.

Do they really need to be that high quality though? Difference between high q gilding and low q is like 1 or 2 points
