Butchers bin & butchers dreams

Game Development: Phrygian Barrel Basket makes this idea a little more likely to happen hopefully.

Butchers bins (basically a barrel of meat)
-clicking on bin dumps one meat type in inventory into the bin.
-the bin will only accept one type of meat (boar,chicken,ect)
-the Q of the meat is average like a compost
-opening the bag tells you the type of meat, the quantity inside it and the quality.
-can hold large amounts of meat (500)

meat grinder- update
-for quality of life, a meat grinder should have a radius around it. When crafting the grinder will check the meat bins and entrails piles around it and use the meat needed.

Bin that acts like a stockpile for meat.
but is not a stock pile & can be lifted.
you just throw meat into it. can hold 500.
cant look inside it.

if I have to butcher 40 things again for my village and try to find room inside a damn house....I'ma cry.

please allow the bins to act as stock piles to make sausages.
if meatgrinder is within 5sq of grinder it should check for meat and use the meat.

and lastly. please allow us to make piles of entrails and intestines.
Shift click should make one or the other pile. if you then shift click another item into the pile. it becomes a junk pile.

You can already stockpile entrails and intestines. They'll go into the same 'trash" type stockpile though so you'll have to separate them yourself, manually, but that's easy to do. And to remember which piles are which, just use a display sign.

I ment stock pile as their own stockpile's that you can visually see from and when shift clicking would make their own taking all of only 1 into that pile.
Easy yes, but after doing having to do it daily of anywhere from 30-60. no not fun. fking hate it.

I see what you're saying. Yeah, I can get behind that, that'd be a big improvement over manually sorting them

mabye a butchers table can hold multi corpes (like wagon knarr, ect hold objects) one click butchering (not skinning must be before adding to table if want hides) and its stored in table inventory

Butcher's Hook

Can only be put in cellars

You can hang corpses from them, or prepare cured meats :mrgreen:

Updated this idea. maybe butcher bins(meat barrels) might be a thing ;)
