i read "fishing guide" and got interested but then i realized its a fighting guide done by a guy that cant fight at all

a suggestion would be to add a section to that chart for what openings are good for what mobs
ie.
blue is good for mammoths and boars as their defenses dont reduce blue

What does it mean by "combat skill" ? Does it mean the UA/MC skills? And what does it mean to cheese it? I came across one method of just spamming the hell outta left hook and so far it does good with bats and foxes..but I'm leary on trying any other prey..I just upped my UA to 40(41 with a crappy gild)..what can I "cheese" with the method I use?Agility is at 30 (24 with penalties from leather armor) .

I've had a hard time trying to understand this combat system..back in 9 before they nerfed it, I was doing alright with archery from a boat...but then it became crap and UA became more favorable. So far this world I've done the method I mentioned previously..

Trying to hunt via boat is difficult for me as some boat methods involve using multiple boats and alts, which I don't have any more then one boat and only two alts. One for labor and the other for my keys.

I disagree. Method i described only uses a single boat and some fierce maneuvering.

I might be wrong, but wasn't armor model changed during w10 so now deflect is not actual deflect anymore and armor always got hit if you got open enough (and therefore all the armor durability was boosted)?

I think it was part of the "new" combat which was not rolled back. Armor section of the guide doesn't reflect that.

I might have reposted my whole guide as a comment, my bad.

Guide has been update with some minor grammar fixes, more alternatives to the boat hunting, and better links.

Things to add:
• Restorations explanation to the 2nd section of the guide.
• Initiative Points purpose and generation to the 2nd section.
