I come here today bearing news from the north. Sad news, true, but also heartwarming.
It is the end of an age. With the passing of the time so have fallen the claims and protections that once held safe the criminal band that became known as "The Fags". Feared across the North, the Fags were ruthless prowlers that fed mostly on defenseless sprucecaps and noobs, never truly standing for a real fight.
After a short lived reign of terror they've started losing ground and being defeated in fights against outsiders and some of our warriors as well. This, added to scarcity of prey, probably led them away back to their main overlords... But what was left behind is now abandoned and falling into ruins. Explorers from our lands, mainly the eastern duchies and newly annexed lands, have pillaged what was left of their hideouts and during that operation they recovered 33 bodies.
When the capital was notified of it, we promptly started working on a special place in our realm graveyard, the Jötun Isle Cemetery, and named it the Memorial of the Thirty-Three.
Once the bodies were ready to be buried, we sent a public call across our realm and many people came to help.
It was a brief ceremony but perhaps now these poor souls may find peace after such a violent and abrupt end their lives met during a dark age.
To anyone out there that might be in that list, know that you have not been forgotten and your soul now rests in Valhalla.
The Northern Kingdom endures and will gladly accept any of you back to live in peace and harmony!
