I like the idea of getting meat and skulls from dead people, but skin capes should require murder as well as canibilism.

New Items:

Skull mug: Ale removes additional travel weariness when drinken from a skull mug.

Skull Helm: Shifts life/death slider two steps closer to death while worn.

Mystery Meat: 1 black FEP, 3 FEPs of the slain characters highest stat.

Soylent Salami: 10 FEPs in the deceased's highest stat.

A while back I read about a skill that would let you eat rats, toads and other inedible stuff, maybe that skill would be a prequisite for this one?

I like the general idea of being able to eat people, but it should come with some sort of a cost.

One should be able to identify cannibals somehow. Stench, aura - whatever.

Hey, I just noticed something! Take a look at the equipment screen, hearthlings lack eyes! Finally, a enemy who we can use as a wineglass!

Ultima Online allowed human dead bodies to be cut in parts (head, arms, legs and torso).
Further vivisection transformed limbs into meat and bones.
But there was no difference between human and rabbit meat, for example.

Diablo game from Blizzard allowed players in multiplayer mode to cut ears of their fallen enemies (also players) as trophies.

I don't even mention lots of singleplayer/multiplayer games with high level of death detalization.

I like the idea in general, nothing wrong with it, but it should really have some kind of cost, as an anti-social action - like bad aura for a cannibal, or some other penalty.

I think this might change in future, when developers will make more detailed character customization system (I hope they will).
Victory needs no explanation. Defeat allows none.
Победа не требует оправдания. Поражение не имеет его.

Can you hear them? Teh Manhunters. They prowl in the night pushing aside thieves and griefers.

Ahem, A good game with cannibalism Is fallout 3, off topic, i know, but it implements a downside to the cannibalism by getting any NPC's to attack the character on sight, after eating human flesh.

If this were implemented in game (the cannibalism) then could we expect to see the cannibal leave scents at the sight of the crime? possibly a stench that follows him around afterword for a short time (until he walks into a river) that allows people to see he's a cannibal without being at the scene of the crime?
