Ok.. New to H&H

Started with a character, spawns in to the world, gets beaten up by a fuken boar. (Literally knocking me out of my shoes)
I decided to run away from that place, started building a bed and getting comfortable with making an axe and stuff.
I have not gained any lvl at all.

So my question is. How do I get even the punch skill?
I've checked through the skill menues, but I can't find any combat skills.
How will I be able to even start practising combat if I don't have any combat skills?

Does anyone skill in combat wish to take over writing this guide?
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

What stats are usefull in combat? Is it just strength (damage with some swords/axes) and con (more HHP)? Well and agility for further teleporting.

I seem to recall weird stats affecting some combat skills or am I misinformed?

Actually, it's perception. Nothing increases max damage, but min damage is based on your per divided by target's agi.

Updated with boars, deers and bears. Updated a few comments on several skills in the listing.
