sad to say this just goes to show this game is falling apart
that fact that the murder system was applied to this when its still in alpha was in fact poor incite on the part of the devs if they want it work they need to do some major over hauling when this is in say beta i mghit come back but for now i think ill "take a break" i still be actie fourm wise hell might even use my alt instead but for now im going to go work on other games in which i know i don't have to deal with this kind of bullshit for now till i can give the game my full attention Fenris out
My friends are those who stand beside me, My enemies are those who stand against me, Those in between are innocent
I swear to protect my friends and the innocent from my enemies
So my question is Who Are You?

Now tell me what you did wrong.

Brick wall..LOL with every fucking iron mine locked up..lol This was no "operation", no ram was used, the ONLY thing in this list that could have helped is the brick wall which is NOT possible without a mountain of iron , few and far between and NO fucking way to trade for it because there is no real trade or economy in this game. There was no stolen keys, no inside spy, no secret ram. As you say in the thread even pallasaides are worthless to the griefers now. The problem isn't your kind advice, it is the rediculous way the game is set up to attract greifers and made to where ONLY said griefers will EVER have any longterm or real fun because as he stated he "doesn't care about your tracking and killing him cause it is easy" (guess he meant to make another grief character). Sure, with your brick walls I suppose he would have had to "plan more"...but 5 hits to a mansion? He would have took you out in a second, and that's the whole point. ANY of us who want to play the game as a game and not a "Who's the best griefer" will all fall eventually. You will never fully accomsplish any real civilization, economy, trade, world or society in this game. And because of it's wonmderful potential, that is quite sad...all to have the joy? or whatever...of having perm-murder in a game? I have watched so many gamers have such high hopes, amazement, intelligent plans and actualy thrill of potental and prospect when they find this game. Only to have to quit and move on.

I guess it would not be a big problem or as sad if there was anything besides Eve or Wurm as alternative, both just don't compare visually/build mechanic/quality ecct. BUT they are at least safe and player friendly and have learned Griefers do not = money, success or respect in the gaming world. I do hope some kind of alternative does come into being in the gaming world. It IS hard to leave H&H, I would so pour my money into it, and have such fun helping build a hearthling world. But as so many before state, this is a lot of time, effort and emotion for what is in the end no benefit except sadness. No matter how much fun you can/could potentially have, you'll never achieve anything real or lasting UNLESS you are here to grief. Then and only then will you find lasting success, yes you'll be summoned and die, but that is the accepted end result of whatever they find dun in the few hours or days of griefing when they "decide to cum" and are trhough with the actual intercourse. A revolving door of noobs/veterans who discover and finally leave.

Sappy yes, but it is very sad, and I'm sad at having to say "I give up". But I guess I'd rather have the doldrum of mediocre play than the unrealized potential of superiority here. Way too much time and emotion is wasted trying in what is obviously a broken idea.

I'll try again, he didn't get past the walls, he went THROUGH the gate by tearing it down. Just as easily as he tore down a mansion with 5 hits.

Hey buddy, dont be so emotional.. when similar thing (of much much smaller scale) happened to me few weeks ago, jorb said this:

jorb wrote:My sympathies. Personally i usually tend to see robberies as fresh starts. I've had my places busted a few times, and, after the initial shock passes, I usually just pick up whatever is left and move. It's usually a fresh start, and the pain of loss subsides quickly when you are suddenly unburdened by the responsibilities of ownership. Then again I'm also very much a solo player.

You feel better now?
Cant you see it?

*sarcasm off*

Later, I put solid effort and gave legitimate suggestion of how to avoid similar absurd destruction and havoc (thread is still fresh btw) but no comments.. even if its stupid or too complex.
