That's because just once I'd like to see a fucking thread not devolve with 12 year old whiney flame bullshit which this game seems to attract like hookers at a republican convention. Most mature players DO discuss these problems and agree with the rediculous imbalances and griefing ass-kissing that is done here. AND GUESS WHAT, it is actually ok to discuss it and get your feelings out without a bunch of flame ass retards.

And ps yes, in good old Jorby style I probably would put the little motherfucker in a coma in real life...how healthy is THAT for a "game"..lol It's what I've always heard "fun games" are suppose to inspire..LOL...not.

You're the reason griefers continue to grief, you make me want to just go grab a macro and start, I mean shit

Get the fuck over it, start up, move on, learn from your mistakes.

There are a ton of things you can do to protect your village a lot better, even I can see that and I've only played for 2 weeks, so rebuild better, and move on or quit yer bitchin' :0

The system clearly favors the attacker side since they can time when everyone gets online for an attack, set up gears, and being more coordinated for a surprise attack with little to no repercussion if done right, even with scents, not to mention being able to pick your targets on individuals with little to no defense. Heck Xanadu got sacked by Bottleneck and they are fighters. Because you only play for two weeks, you also do not quite get the full picture of the system.

And Russaria I'm on your side on this issue but please calm down.

This is an excellent game but due to the fact that that it's unregulated as well as no repercussion, people can do anything they want without consequences. That is what attracts this element to the game.

The only problem with having real world no holds barred type rule set is, griefers do not come back when put down in the real world; clearly the opposite here. So there is no justice in this world because the person causing the grief, their death isn't permanent, it is merely an inconvenience. Hardly the same thing as someone who would have been hunted down in the time period we are playing.

Kiss my ass you fucking motherfucker, 2 week noob ass bitch (this what ya wanted? or is this someone's alt because noone can have a real thread without this flaming shit?). Just because people state their feelings and discuss the nature of the problems does not mean they are "bawwwww"ing you 12 year old cocksucking little dweeb. There is a reason why no other games does it and when you stupid fucking little ass spends a year playing it then come back and talk, becauase by your own admission you don't know fucking shit. except that you are desperate need of someone in real like shanking your left eye ball so you stop using up valuable air. You don't like these threads trhen fucking go play the game and don't read discuss or involve yourself in these threads. Little loser ass bitch.

Enjoy being griefed to hell buddy.

This is why they do it, because it's so fucking hilarious how you cry like a little baby and throw insults around like it makes any difference.

One second you're "Feel sorry for me I was attacked, bawww", the next you're "DONT MAKE FUN OF ME FAKKU U FAKKA U!"

Get real, you're not even on my level you waste of breath.

That's called a game mechanic, there are several things you can do to help, read some threads, you'll get far.

The fact that if I saw the fortress I could probably point out the weak points, and I've only played 2 weeks says a lot about how irresponsible, careless, or stupid whoever built it was. Yes, using pure game mechanics "Build fence, have gates", you will indeed be easily attacked, but there are ways around this in other game mechanics, such as "hearthfires outisde in seperate palisade, hearth out, village warp in". Not to mention at least 5 other ways of easily getting around this.

If you have a poorly designed system, should you be mad at the guy who walked by and knocked it down, or yourself for not designing it better?

I agree with this. The psychojorb (regarding a thread way back, where he explained some stuff in such a manner I was sickened as though I was listening to a serial killer justify his actions..lol)

They try to justfify it with some silly "medieval world" crap but guess what, your ass did NOT come back with half a life of points and skills from a vat of boiling oil, a beheading or being split open with a spike up your ass as you rotted by the castle gates. When it was relayed to me what the guy said when asked about being tracked. The "it's so easy, this it what the game is for, and I don't care". It pretty much said it ALL regarding "consequences".

There are none, and it IS what attracts them, probably because that is what the devs are actually IMO. The stuff is just way too easy to fix or test other mechanics for it to really be anything else...especialy after this long.

The griefers are no less at fault at exploiting the weakness of the game mechanic as the developers's oversight of the system (and I, by no means of harpng on J&L either). Take it into this content, in real life there are laws that punish you for commiting a crime raning from fines (money isn't easy to come by you know), to danky jail, to prison, to death. Here, your punishment can range from losing months of progress on an elaborate marauding system, to a 1-2 days on making kill alts with macros to...nothing, as there is no enforcement from a GM or Dev of a sort and relatively little incentive for player enforcement unless it's a large scale group enforcement and even that is limited to a region due to the size of the world.

You are a moron, one of those little game dweebs who walks into some game and in 2 weeks thinks you know, have experienced and can best any one in it. Probably due to your repulsive personality. You don't know jack shit. We had NO warps to inside our walls. Our wall was fresh, prestine and maintianed daily. We have NO near forests to hide a ram, we had NO unkown townspeople, we had NO spare keys laying around, we did NOT give keys to citizens, we used outwarps and HF/Idol warps to return, our cornerposts were all sealed. The ONLY thing we did not have was a stupid brick wall which requires iron. There is NO reasonable way to trade in this game. You have NO FUCKING CLUE what our village looks like, how it is maintained, what the setu up is. We, like most gamers here, do not bother other people or start fights withthem, nor do we steal or grief.

You, again, do not know SHIT about this game, our village, nor the history of this game and it's problems you noob know-it-all prick. WHEN you are around long enough and go through the shit yourself THEN your vomits of idiocy may even get my consideration (right or wrong) as valid discussion. I mean there are a-holes here I dispise BUT I would at least listen to whatever they said as KNOWING and VALID regardless of my opinion of it. YOU are just pissing in the wind and looking for rain.

The dude was just a macro-greifer who walked right through them (AND would have a brick wall segment too with a little more time). ANd feared NO "consequences"...THAT is a broken ass mechanic.

People like this just get picked on in EVERY competative online game and whine everytime.

We can't/wont.

You completly missed his point. Let me highlight it:
stickman wrote:most likely people will offer to kill the attacker for free... and then you will be too inactive to allow them access to collect scents...

I think you are completely wrong about griefers grinding up players for a month just to do a couple hours worth of damage. As someone who has created alts to do this, I don't think it is likely the griefer doesn't care about their character. They are likely banking on your inaction, which appears to be just what you are planning. By complaining so much and yet refusing to fight back or to even think of helping others strike back, you make yourself that much more of a target.

Don't get me wrong, I do sympathize with your troubles, but the way you are behaving on this thread is just impotent rage which just makes the game more attractive for the kind of people you are angry with. This means that you are actually contributing to the problem you are complaining about. Let me tell you, revenge in this game can be quite rewarding.

Anyway, if you think that all the time you spent making your town in now wasted because it has been destroyed, then why are you playing? I would hope that all the time spent was enjoyable. You do know that eventually this map will be wiped, right?
