It was never about "the attack"..lol It was the same old "love the drama" crap they expect. Personalities, mechanics, unprofessionali states...blah blah blah. 6 months ago same, tomorrow same, on and on...haven't seen anything from anyone but verbal masterbation in so long ya might as well get horny and join in. The fact some, expecially those with sore hands for so long, act as though they don't know that is usually the biggest laugh. As so many say so often. "it's not a real game, not serious, just a couple boys in a dorm room with no commercial goals, and a secondary game called "the forums" where people scream, flame and fight.". Get over it, in game and here...it's all a big joke on every level from everyone from the devs down to the veteran players or haven't ya figure that out yet..lol

I don't think that has an overly amount to do with it. Before the greifer fest things seemed pretty ok. I noticed most of the conflicts that occured in the 2nd world were actual politics. The big towns into that sort of thing would have their transgressors and it was actually pretty interesting. Most of the conflict came from legit causes, transgressions and normal type politics. It seems that the game changed about the time of that annoucement that a couple of posts had been made at certain forums (Like the Russian Jihad incident). When that occured it was finally a true example of "the wrong crowd" finding the game in it's massive exploitable state and all the problems began, prior to that it was pretty normal and only the occasional childish griefer found his way here that I ever noticed or read about. A shame , though maybe it did/is showing how important the need for chaging some of the exploitability and greifer attraction the game needs (if of course any real goals, polishing or commercial success is wanted or sought, and i guess only they know that for themselves). Aside from that, the 2nd world seemed pretty respectful and quite fun for all involved imo.
