It's totally cool to have a season counter, but existing wording seems to be a bit unclear about exact dates of start and end of a season, at least for me. As now I see "Winter, 28 days remaining" and wonder if this a first day or second, or maybe even third, and how the last day will be marked, "1 days remaining" or "0 days"? Can it be written as something like plain "Winter, Day N of M"?

Yeah, please take a look. I'm not sure how to put it (the text) exactly, just thinking aloud.

By the way, as the counter was showing less than 30 on the first RL day, do seasons have their length set in in-game days (30 and 3x30), not in RL days (10 RL = 32.9 in-game days for winter)?

In the case anybody else is interested, season did change at in-game midnight. The last day of season was marked "0 days remaining", and the first day (of Spring) is marked "29 days remaining".

Also, I see that a new year has started... and it's Day 0 as programmers are used to count from zero. :D Maybe, for those who do not know the joke, it would be better to name the first day the first, not the zeroth? And now I start to think there was something like "Year 1" earlier, no?

Hey guys!

So I've been gone for a while (5-6 years) and all of a sudden I got a craving for some HnH!
Thing is that I'm in possession of a Mac.. I've just recently learned how to use it and after searching this thread I have done following things;

Updated to Mac OSX 10.11.6, downloaded the latest Java 8 and installed it, downloaded Ender's Via updater-hafen.jar, started it..
So the start screen comes up, I type my name and password = > Connection refused (Connection Refused)!

What did I do wrong?

P.s. It works on default. d.s.

@Agrik - I'll make it show year from day 1 and if there's less than 1 day left switch to showing hours left. And seasons are configured on server in in-game time as 30 days (90 for summer)

@Aegir it looks like firewall for some reason blicks Java when launched running my client, but not vanilla. Unfortunately I don't own a Mac and know almost nothing about it.

Thanks for the information as well. So while it's easier to estimate the end of a season ingame, seasons are non-integer in RL days (some hours longer than 9 and 27 RL days respectively).

I tried without the firewall entirely but there was no difference..
