Is it me or am i the only one that is shocked that the attacker bulldozed through the closed gate by using probably a pickaxe and his god like strength to just "A-Y" it to death? I don't care how GOOD your how much gear you have, but if someone can walk to your door and break it down and catch the villagers off guard before they are able to react or gear up to defend, you are dead. Or at least half the village is dead before your fighters or vet players can react and understand what is going on...

my 2 cents to this is really any brick or Palisade walls cannot be Targeted by "Adventure, Destroy" Without use of a ram in my opinion... Have to give both sides chance to defend and attack. Attackers can rush to build a wall around their ram to protect it and etc. That would be fair and balanced in my opinion. But having someone out of the blue just HULK SMASH your gate is insane.... Helll What if this was a brick gate and a person had some how managed to acheive demi-god status in the sense he can HULK SMASH a brick gate... then what would you do? Nothing.

I just think the problem outlined here is unless you accidently left or opened a gate and the guy slipped in, you cant have some guy just smash right through the wall without a ram in my opinion. Even if he has enough strength and etc just make it so he still needs to use a "Ram" as a tool. If a guy who can rip down walls and gates with his own bearhand cannot crack a tree in half without an axe, then i say you cannot crack down a wall without use of a ram even if you have god like strength. It is a tool for wall breaking period!

ciroth this is old news almost a month old now if i'm correct and taking out a house now is alot harder plus the rumor that he just went though the wall was not true as at the time we were a bit noobish to defending are self's and left the gate open BWithey can't seem to notice when a fourm is dead lol and most like only posted for lol and post count

Make a airlock at your gates, and tell everyone to open the 1st one, go through it, close it and repeat for the outer gate.

Airlocks only help slightly.

Read the defense guide, don't use gates.

On topic, so far Ravenholm has been attacked 3 time and, from my tracking and intel, it is from the same person whom has been killed all 3 times as well: once from Prontera's rangers, one by Bottleneck's fighters, and one by Sodom's assault force.
