Very slow tree regrowth on swamps and mountains

Mountains often have Pines and Birches, which are more or less essential trees, and depending on surrounding biomes, can be rare. However to my knowledge, once someone decides to chop them down, they can't regrow.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong) (I recommend you read it in it's entirety, but TL:;DR: Build a Palisade.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Tells you how to try and escape, and make it less likely to die when caught.)

That's why I take seeds to later regrow them or this may happen.

Same for mulberries being chopped down on sight.

I recall a certain person bragging on this forum about how they chop down every mulberry they come across.
