Tedium Removal: Road Milestone Extending

When extending a road and after building a new milestone, you should automatically be able to place the next milestone. No more opening the GUI and extending after building every new milestone, except for occasions when you need to restock building materials or clear some trees/dirt. Just build a milestone/signpost, and automatically you're placing the next one, and so on.

Bonus: The next milestone's ghost placement preview should be initially rotated identically to the previous one, not fucking facing towards the player. So annoying.

Bonus: Some sort of message/indicator if the path between the two milestones is blocked or not, preferably before placing it.
Edit: Someone suggested even drawing a vector between the travel points of each marker, which would visually explain to sprucecaps how roads work and become interrupted.

Bonus: Just remove travel weariness from roads already

I +1 this thread, milestones are needlessly painful to make. I don't know why trees, rocks, squirrels and berry bushes MUST block them. The only thing that should block a milestone are playerbuilt walls. If roads ignored everything except for walls and possibly other structures of authority, that would be really nice.

Not bad. Like drawing the movement vector. Will consider.

Please consider alternatively just making trees, bushes, and common boulders/stones not block the path of a milestone.

Collision could be removed for the milestones (or roadsigns) - pretty much like it is for village banners - you can freely walk or drag a cart through those.

This could also allow for the path to be defined by the markers themselves, to be used as waypoints, to simplify it a bit.

But collision should be present for anything else other than the waypoints (markers). Flying through stuff just because there's a road isn't great, plus there will always be exploits.

It has to be accessible anyway - for walking as well as for building.

The only issue is with already existing paths, but it could be made for the "new world" version.
