New Implementations
-----------------------
- Added "Scrying". A mechanic by which you, using the scent of a heinous crime, can observe the perpetrator of said crime from afar.
- You can now craft "Scrying Ball" and "Scrying Juice".
- Place a "Scrying Ball" on a "Runed Dolmen", and infuse it with "Scrying Juice", and you can far-see the perpetrator of the crime from which the "Scrying Juice" was made, for a brief duration.
- When attempting to scry, a roll is made based upon the scryer's (Perception * Exploration) versus the perpetrators (Intelligence*Stealth) to determine if the scry is successful. If the ratio is below 0.5, the scryer has no chance of far-seeing the perpetrator. If the ratio is above 2.0, the scryer always succeeds.
- A spectating eye is placed above the perpetrator during a successful scry. This eye can be discovered by anyone who sees the perpetrator, rolling the scryer's (Intelligence * Stealth * Psyche) versus the observer's (Perception * Exploration * Psyche) to determine if the spectating eye is discovered.
- If the perpetrator discovers the spectating eye, he can right-click it, to far-see the Scryer back while the scry lasts.
- "Scrying Juice" decays when the scent from which it was made would have.
Key Fixes
-----------------------
- Increased the duration of the "Red-Handed" debuff from 5 to 20 minutes.
Small Fixes
-----------------------
- Increased the base value of the "Travel Weariness" cap from 25 to 50. You should now be able to travel more before capping out.
- Buffed "Travel Weariness" restoration from smoking, from a base value of 0.3 restored per puff at Q10, to a base value of 1.0.
- Doubled the base restorations of "Travel Weariness" from sleeping in "Thatched Bed"s or "Sturdy Bed"s.
- Reduced the cost of building "Ship Dock"s.
- "Mandrake Root" should be slightly more common.
- "Nidbane Fetter" & "Vengeful Incantation", along with scrying recipes, moved to a new action menu "Revenge & Curses" under "Rite & Magic".

In the Pipe
-----------------------
- Tuning the changes made to the "Red-Handed" debuff last week, to gauge reactions. Props to user:wonder-ass for suggesting the basic scrying mechanic here. Note that this was a quick implementation to try out the idea, since we liked it, and that we are very open to removing or modifying the mechanic if it plays worse than we hope. Keep the discussion going!
- We are working on a conversation system for quest givers, which is currently our bigger project (tm). Making progress, but patches may not be weekly.
- Again urging any custom client maker who wishes to stay relevant to get with the new rendering times. Support for the old resources will be dropped at some point.
- Our primary development direction is toward object-controlled-objects.
