Why are people so insistent on getting C&I shut down? Let's assume that you are right and C&I serves no value whatsoever. What harm does it do to leave it available? I don't see how C&I could be proactively harmful, and thus no reason why it should be shut down.

The hyperbole in this thread is laughable. HandH needs to have a forum just like every other game. Call it a dead platform all you want, it is at the heart of every game and the legitimizing anchor that every player goes to for final answers. HandH probably could do with an official discord, one that is moderated and is focused on the game, not on individuals and personal agendas. That is what guild/faction/personal discord servers are for. More power to you if you can attract people to your server and are honest about it rather than feign as if it is game sponsored. Who gives a crap if people post bad ideas in C&I? If they are bad ideas ignoring the post is the best way for it to die. If you feel the need to call the OP retarded you either want to gain points with someone who thinks that is cool or you have some general fear of the idea. Jorb and Loftar are not so small minded as to be influenced by every damned idea that comes down the pipe(I am pretty sure). Relax and let idiots(like me) make dumb suggestions or suggestions that have already been tried and failed and just point it out if it bothers you. The forum should be an attractive place for new players not an edge competition.

because most of recent threads or posts were made by me and Shubla, so they will ALWAYS negate the idea not based on it's content and substantively, but because it was made by me or Shubla

I have no idea, it's not harmful in any way. I think it does have some kind of value since Jorb would at least be glancing over the threads.

4 days of radio silence, woo hoo!

Glad to see that the forum is too dead for moderation to be all that necessary, but that will change when the next patch/world reset comes along (very soon, of course!)

I am most interested in making sure the How Do I? subforum gets moderated because its valuable to have a space that welcomes noob questions. I do hope the rest of the forum becomes more useable but as long as How Do I? remains free of sarcastic wrong answers / spam / mocking ppl for not knowing things, I'm good.

The thread by Clemens is a great example where he was talking about giving combat a shot and certain bad actors just said to give up and accept your death/ko.

How do I for sure should be heavily moderated.

Not only this, but other people straight up giving wrong information about mechanics they have literally never engaged in, claiming their 18k post count is enough of a justification to talk about things they have no knowledge of.
Either to troll or... I don't know why, but it's bad in both cases.

How do I is way better than the mess at Critique & Ideas. I agree with you and I sincerely hope it'll stay that way. It's honestly surprising that only the thread Clemins made got ruined by bad actors, looking at the state of forums.
