Milk question

Wiki states cows produce milk at the rate of 0.01 milk / 10 minutes. Wondering if this is correct? Seems rather low. That's 0.06 / hr and only 1.44l per day.

My rudimentary tests early in the world indicated around 10-12L / 24 hours for a q10 basic cow. For sheep and goats, half that amount. They definitely don't refresh their milk every 10 minutes, usually it takes more than 1 hour for them to produce more milk.

I've always ballparked it at 1L/day/quantity for cows, 0.5L/d/q for sheep/goats.

The wiki is a bit unreliable at times for finer details.

Thanks for the info. I'm taking over herding and cheese making and am trying to stream line it sothat I can make the amount of cheese the village wants without need 50 extra cows. Although suckling maws might be a new issue.
