I mean there are some okay fixes in there but its mostly completely uninteresting foodstuff.

This dev session started with me oversleeping for three hours. We then spent ~4 discussing. It isn't a big update, but all cannot be. Seeing as how some people seem conditioned to give negative responses (I'm not in any way looking at you, Avu, whatever gave you that idea?), I think it evens out. :)

Well, I suppose one could say that any update that doesn't have horrible rolling implications that ruin the game (I can't think of one offhand, save jorb or loftar chiming (heehee) in about windblades; I'm sure there are others who have many such favorites) is one to be thankful for.

On the other hand, maybe positive reinforcement will encourage the devs to add/fix some (hopefully) little things

Also, who on earth is getting their DEX (or the bulk of it) from anything but mussels? They come in enormous clumps for a gatherable, they yield pearls (especially if one is cooking them en-masse), and if you get an unlucky roll and get their off-stat, oh no, you got a point of psyche!

Because f-ing everything gives agi. Then again, I guess there's lots of str floating about to...

With all these new foods coming in lately, maybe it's time for another attribute they can add to? ;)

I am wondering what is it with all these new foods. Is there indeed a completely new food system coming with generic recipes like it has been disdcussed before, or was that scrapped and you just instead add tons of new stuff now?

emina, whenever I have gotten a "delayed" resource, for me that means the server to long to load the resource. as in your connection to the server is slow or the server is overloaded etc. if your hearth is in a house, try logging in at your hearth fire, that should work. when the fir resource bug happened, my guy was outside. my other character was inside however and could log in... simple because he was not near any fir trees at the time.

It's more a case of me noticing how I can't do certain things, and then demanding that a recipe be added. We are looking at and thinking about a better crafting system, because this one is so obviously limited, but we kind of need the graphics and what-not even under a system like that, so we've figured that adding them now isn't a huge waste of time for us, while it adds (more than people realize, I think) to the immediate ingame experience. In this particular instance I noticed that I had lots of flour lying around that I couldn't make anything with, ipso facto, bark bread.

Not that much str for farmers and villagers available. Most of the str I've got was by fishing and hunting. So I do welcome this, even if I personally don't experience an advantage from it. :)

Yeah. That's getting more and more obvious, with the recent update adding yet another step for baking. Now it's craft->cooking->baking->breads/pies/pancakes.
