I've created a first draft of a new player guide.
It's not complete. Not even close.
It's hopefully going to help some people get started, and I hope to work on it over time.

I hope this is helpful to some people.
Please feel free to list sections you'd like to see added, or things you think that are important that are missing.

Guide is fine, didn't read really but skimmed through it. You should, IMO, give more ingame examples of what a new player should do, especially on topics like curio (saying, well it depends you'll figure it out, isn't really helpful, give them a list of early game curios that they can make/gather and what stats they should aim for).
Also quoting other topics/players will probably be better when it comes to some topics, honestly dakkan's thread is a lot better when it comes to claim security, it's less yap and more to the point with clear examples of fuck ups. Some stuff is also debtable, leaving your visitors open with no fence gate behind them IS NOT a good idea especially when you consider that the average person reading the guide will fuck it up in 20 obvious ways (not to mention the non-obvious ways to do a funny).

looks solid, but where is guide on how to setup dev environment for client editing?
also instead google docs you can use jekyll to create book from markdown files which is faster and less retarded than docs, you can setup community repository so anyone can contribute
