For some reason there is a hotkey to hide UI. It used to be SPACEBAR of all things. IIRC the binding should be off by default.

1. OP seemingly complains that some of the UI elements, including the HP bar, are missing.
2. The game contains a function/option to "hide UI".
3. Aside from having questionable usefulness, it used to be default bind into SPACEBAR of all things. IIRC this keybind was later removed.
4. Hypothesis: OP has somehow unknowingly enabled this.
5. Potential resolution: A) find the relevant setting B) bind a key into it (assuming it somehow enabled without that) C) press said key to retrieve UI D) un-bind the option again so that it can not happen again by accident.

that’s not what OP meant tho, I was somehow able to parse it even from his post but that response makes it even clearer

in english he’s suggesting we become able to see opponents’ HP bars, as in many MMOs you are at least able to see a bar which gives a decent idea of their current HP if not with exact numbers included

then you mistakenly thought he’d disabled his own, that other guy was talking about the HP change J+L scrapped before this world, and so on
