arent you one of people who constantly raises concerns about players using scripts in pvp? if yes then what makes you think you can beat bot if you cant beat human with scripts?

I'm glad you're listening to the community.

The servers have been expanded. When will private servers / coop client be available to us?
I just want to play pve / casually with my friends in a permanent world without griefers and pvp. As you said before, the game can be played in many ways.
Would appreciate it if you'd let us know approximately when this will be happening, so we can look forward to it.

I have to admit i'm kinda excited to see, how the game will be perceived once it has launched on Steam.
And what type of players it will attract. And obviously very keen on how the shorter cycles will be for existing players.
Will be an interesting journey for sure.

Giving players the option to convert an existing hat into a steam item could be another revenue source for the game.
People already trade hats for real money so letting them do that through steam moves it away from shady paypal deals and also gives you a small % of each transaction.
The money people get from selling an item on steam is also locked* to steam so I imagine that a portion of that would be likely to be spent on Haven subscriptions. (*Unless you go through some extra hoops and third party sites that most people don't)

Possible downsides include
-Any hat converted this way would be locked to the steam ecosystem, so could no longer be traded in game.
-The real world value of hats become more obvious and exact to players (The value already exists, people already sell and buy them it's just a bit opaque)
-More real world trade
-The existence and scale of real world trade becoming more obvious to the average player

Possible upsides
-Opaque and shady market is moved to more transparent platform
-Income from the "tax" that is taken from each market transaction by steam, I can't recall the exact % of which is returned to the original devs but it's better than the current 0
-Possible increase in subscriptions as some players who sell their hats on the market place may use that steam locked money on subscriptions.

Not sure how difficult it currently is to setup steam items for a game on steam and what restrictions they impose, previously it was incredibly unrestricted but there's been a recent trend of low effort games that make their income almost entirely through that market place tax % so it's possible that the system is more restrictive now or will be in the future.

I also added to my wishlist, and says it's on my wishlist on the store page, but when I go to my actual steam wishlist, it doesn't show up there either.

It's showing up now correctly, although is it me or that banner looks horrible?

I am curious if the steam release will change your stance on policing? In the past you have always said that players should resolve their own problems ingame, whether that's bullying (hat or die), discrimination or racism. Will you take a more active stance on this now you are going for a broader public? I am afraid this will get a lot more highlighted on Steam with reviews and such.

Maybe you should also reconsider tokens for the first public world, since RMT is not something well-received usually. You could also re-introduce it at a later point again when the game is more settled with your new playerbase.

Jorb has been fairly clear on this issue during the stream.
This game is a sandbox, and if the kids want to defecate in the sandbox and be edgy, then who are we to stand in their way?

As for hat or die... while it's a disgusting practice, maybe this kind of bullying is a good incentive to learn how to defend yourself, rather than being an eternal victim.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I think if tokens were removed at this point, unless RMT is banned from the forums you'd just have more of the high end items in market threads being priced in $
Like even with tokens, the price for cutting edge quality is always in dollars. That's part of why the highest quality tools are always "PM for price"

But is Steam fine with games being on their platform where this is common practice? Serious question. I'm sure it is something they have not looked into at all, but would be a shame to see the game be removed from steam after a week because of this.

I guess I can follow you on that. The difference though, is that in the first instance the developers actively support RMT and in the second instance they don't. I know I preferably don't play new games where I know RMT is promoted by developers. I also think that the RMT in this game is rather negligent because you can only buy what the best villages offer and not neccessarily what the devs offer. But new players might not perceive it that way.
