Is it possible to double the effective hunger cost of Str+2? The meta already heavily favored+2 recipes, and this will likely make them even more important because they are far more efficient than any non+2.

This kinda sucks no? Why would you eat anything but str+2 in this case? You are making anything but +2 foods twice as bad, which wasn't even really the case in the old system.

I'd atleast assume that the food got reworked in a way where you only get +2 from super high tier rare food, otherwise it's gonna be only +2 meta yeah

Conversely, if you make +2 FEPs count doubly toward hunger, that would make them completely meaningless, no?

Less food needed with good recipes tho, you waste half as much materials (which means you get twice as much food, if we consider the same recipe giving +1 or +2 with different combos).
You could also make it have better ratio but not twice as good. As of rn there is no reason at all to ever eat +1s, so early game str will be ptermigans only lel.

Yeah but if you can get +2 feps from regular food and not something super rare then I think once again you guys don't appreciate enough the lenghts players will go for to not ruin their hunger, if you can get +2 feps from regular materials then definitely noone is gonna ever eat +1 food

Thanks for the changes, these have addressed a lot of my major complaints for the last few world. I have some complaints about the hunger stuff, but I'ma wait to actually use it before I ree.

I think this makes things a bit worse, though. The people who suggested it are right in that there's a problem with node qualities, haven't thought through the implications. This drastically increases the amount of work needed for highQ bones and therefore industry in general. For perspective, I've personally spend hundreds of hours boating around killing everything I can find yet I've never found a topQ node for a relevant animal.

With nodes being that rare making it so that villages on a consistent basis have to find new topQ nodes in order to keep up with other villages in terms of quality will create a bigger power disparity than there needs to be, as bones are one of the primary places quality ""comes from"".

I don't see a problem with nodes moving in general, but the variance in quality between nodes really needed to be drastically reduced, or the chance of finding top quality drastically increased even before this change - but this change will exacerbate that issue.

About the suggestion: It's a bad suggestion if you apply it to the current PVP system. Don't please!
