Hunger toggle

Since we are doing hunger changes, it would be nice if there was a hunger toggle
For example, if you want to be balanced, you can toggle the "balanced" option that will only give you a fep up on a stat that isn't your highest within 2, to account for +2 foods.

Anyone see a downside to this?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I'm for it.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Some stats are easier to get in mass quantities, str and con being the primary contenders.

Eat pure str or pure con + 1 cave bulb for infinite psy gains.

Then it can be changed to all stats instead of psy, or you need at least 30% of the fep in a stat, or it won't be selected.

Or just make it raise your lowest stat, and limit it that you can use it like every 5 stat increase.

I feel like there's already balance in the game around some foods having a lot of stats, but being very multi statted to kind of compensate. Due to variable ingredient stuff this isn't always true, and you do get some crazy recipes.

I'd prefer to see something like a hunger discount if you a stat based on how far behind it is from your primary.

Something like: Hunger is "saved up" until you finish an FEP bar, if it's not your highest stat you get a % hunger discount based on the difference

this is interesting.

Another idea is that if you have one stat that’s the highest, higher than any other, then that stat will never be chosen.

So, if you have both Agility and Strength at 50, it will still have a chance to choose Agility as usual, since two stats are your highest, and this only works if one stat is ahead.

This would prevent a specific stat, like Psy, from being chosen and also keep any single stat from getting out of control. Of course, this won't stop TWO stats from getting out of control together, but this is a hell of a lot better.

As a result, the miners will be forced to eat con with the str food, rather than just str food. As a result it would likely slow down mining progression, but as an upside, the frail miners won't skip leg day anymore.

You know you can just eat 0.1% hunger berries right? And that variety feps are reduced the more variety you get.
