Ridable Reindeers

Postby Josioshane » Thu Nov 21, 2024 2:24 am

Since Reindeers are tamable now but only able to pull sleds why not allow those with the Druidic Rite skill to ride them like horses with increased speed compared to horses but less power and health but with the ability to be invulnerable to the raw hide hearth magic, or a resistance to it.

tbh, everything about this suggestion would be pretty unfun. Melee movement meta? Old and boring. Horse meta? Unfun nightmare.

It's time for the ranged meta. It's the only thing we're missing to complete the triangle.

dont you remember through pali oneshots? or shotgun bows? we had that, thats why bows are as overnerfed as horses.

For the record: I'm never serious about pvp system suggestions.

My only notable death was in legacy to an over the pali Rbow shot lol. That wasn't projectile based like the current system. And "shotgun bow" as a concept wouldn't matter if everyone was bowman and melee was ironically only used for PvE. You'd never want to get close, you'd also be shooting at a distance and trying to dodge shots.

But if jorbtar ever tried that as a system I think there'd be a lot of buttmad.

i still think, not being able to shoot from boats as crew is sad. naval combat with projectiles, is exactly how it should have ended up with.
