make rivers near large villages or large heatmaps of player built objects/claims start to accumulate unpickable piles of trash on riverbanks nearby. food items, misc items, clothes can be rendered into these piles even and they can be ever shifting day by day.

when a village decays, loses auth or dies, the rivers gradually cleanse themselves of trash. i think it would be a nice vibe, honestly. ~flavor~.

because hearthlings season their rivers.

This just has griefing potential and is a bad idea.
Besides the hearthlands are already seasoned with flotsam and fishable/diggable discarded items.

also, makes no sence for the time period. most if not all our trash, is degradeable.
