It encourages you to start building mine holes and prepares you for miner in that sense, you start building mineshaft even without looking for ore and the boulders you collect can be saved to help the next person do qman. Maybe I'm insane

Also quarry arts is fucking great as a reward and I'd like to see more credos do something similar. Like maybe add a lumberjack credo with "burls" which are higher quality blocks rarely chopped from logs and that are node based

its not that i dislike the fact that there is something to do for miners early, or that i think the boni are bad.
but miners are a very catered to jobgroup, that are essential for every part of the game,
the fact that miners get 2 creedos, with boni so good they become essential, while others have none or 3 trash boni and one you need. is sadge,

Yes make me sadness too. Credo needs to be expanded, maybe rethink the rewards like people have said, stat boosts aren't fun but quarryartz is fun. Exclusive access to specialized resources is fun. Random specific %boosts to activities isn't fun. Ranged combat isn't fun. Why probably nobody does strider credo, oOOOo better swimming!!!!! Reduced satiations!!!!!! Less hassle to raid beehive so important!!!!! POG

AKA make better tablecloth, build a dugout, build bee skeps... why do this credo?

ranged could be fun, its just ass for everyone when it isnt ass. so it is not allowed to be fun,

yet we have 2 creedos that are almost exclusively buffing ranged combat, and taking it just for 1/5th of the boni feels trash.

contrary to what you said. yes, exclusive things are fun, but only after getting them,
being cut out from your intended job, because you get bad luck rng feels horrible.
and creedos are often retarded in contrast to what you are doing them for.
killing beavers for fisherman is a common example,
or leaving base for farmers.

it gets even worse for creedo requirements,
quarryman-miner-gemhunter for somebody that is hunting outside and picking up mussles is beyond stupid.
