There's 4 or 5 other people in the willig with similar piles, although I think we're kindof outliers in that we actually use mrage and tryhard to setup kills instead of KO. Anyway, weirdflex over

Do you honestly like this game? I'm not being sarcastic here, but If all you mainly do is go around and just kill player after player, indiscriminate and whatnot do you believe your actions do not have consequences?
you state yourself that your village is kindof outliers in that we actually use mrage and tryhard to setup kills instead of KO what happens when you do all this, and come W17 half of the new players you killed do not come back? I understood the whole WB thing, they talked a lot of stuff and in W15 was able to last against ya's when you sieged them. But going around and killing newer and/or defenseless players. . . what's the end game for you?

If the devs bothered to log and share useful information related to stats, kills, deaths, quality, etc. many of those questions would already be answered. Or we would at least have a better understanding of them.


i'm pretty sure they have done this in many recent dev streams. Have you been watching them?

I heard devs want to do 2 concurrent worlds by the time next world reset happens. I imagine this would be when pve and pvp worlds will be a thing. When that is ready is when they should have done a steam release in order to retain new players. Everything is timing and striking when the iron is hot. They kind of failed in that respect.

How many active PvPers groups are there? As in people who look for PvP content, rather than just reacting to it.

To my understanding is very few, wouldn't be that hard to come together and discuss a way to make PvP content more entertaining for them while not relying so much on destroying spurcecaps' life.

Make PVP for the PVP crowd and not force the rest of us into their favored style of play - if you have no scents beyond trespassing you may hearth from a player attack (not from animal attacks). Perhaps, this being an emergency, it would use half your stamina and all your travel weariness, but you would be safe. Of course someone just starting may not have a safe hf, just an open campsite, and if they are caught there ...what? A grace period for newcomers? No PvP their first five days? (Another game I play has dueling, but you cannot be dueled til you're level 20.)

Or a starter continent with no PvP. Everyone spawns there, you may play the entire world there, or at any time you may opt to go to the rest of the world (spawning randomly on any other continent), though once you leave you can never return.

But whatever is proposed the PvP crowd will scream "Retarded!" because they cannot hunt defenceless newcomers (not comprehending there is no glory in winning such "fights").

To be a Devil's Advocate... Snail is basically providing Jorbtar with free QA/playtesting/consulting (they'd probably have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to maybe get the same feedback from "professionals") and their response is to mostly ignore him.

Either Jorb doesn't care at all when it comes to attracting/retaining new players, or is actively gaslighting himself that people play this game like he intended, not like Snail - despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. The fact that he went through with the Steam launch unfortunately suggests the latter.
