Don't even want a mechanic around it or anything just want to be able to do it

+1 I want to pet all the farm animals

Should be able to pet other players' regardless of perms, too.

Also, let us try to clover & pet the wild ones.

By the way, in the B42 version of Zomboid I've been playing recently, you can pet livestock

GOD I can't wait for the stable build

Anyway yeah add another meter for animals, called "love". You need to pet them daily otherwise they mutate into level 9 trolls (quality 10)
