Sticky Decals

Let us craft a sticky decal that stays on the container with decal+glue.
I have decals on all my outside containers and its really annoying if I accidentally click on them.

You could also make it so that removing sticky decals means you have to right click a torch on it.

Absolutely!

I'm surprised the devs, noting all the features of third party clients that players like, haven't incorporated more into the default.

I still use the default because it is always "up to date", and the others I've tried have been TMI and/or resource heavy.

They have even asked during multiple streams to tell them what kind of custom client features should be in the base game.
This is one of those things that can be improved.

You should try Ender's. Its 95% basic client with just a bunch of QOL features, no outside resources. And he updates it at most a day in after patches for the last couple worlds.

I think if the default client was at GitHub many people would submit useful fixes.

You can't rely on someones good will.
At one point it might run out.
Base client needs to be a playable experience.
