Thus fix the value of gold by creating a sink for gold in the game and adjusting its presence across mines:
- * make it less abundant in general
- * gold is required for realm upkeep

Gold is in abundance once you pass L5 and go deeper. No matter which world. Markets are overflowing offering it and nobody buys it anymore.
