- Often times a TW that is ready to be claimed is in middle of night when I am sleeping
- Often times a TW that is ready to be claimed is when I'm at work
- Often times I just can't play at a time when TW can be claimed
- You always have to be on top of all of the TW timers which is very frustrating ontop of all the other ingame shit
I don't want to wake up in middle of night just because a tree can be claimed and I won't quit my job in middle of the day to just claim a stupid TW, this is very common issue in villages/groups that play in similar timezones
I just want to have more control over this instead of some preset timers when it is obligatory to be playing in order to expand a realm
Here's how I would solve this:
- The thingwalls have no initial timers
- The thingwall claim window has to be created by hearthlings themselves
- The thingwall claim window once initiated by hearthling opens quickly (2-3 hours) or exactly 24 hours after the initialization so atleast you have a bit more control over the TW timing
- Same window 8hour related rules are fine or even it could be shortened by a long stretch tbh
- There has to be a limit how many TW can be claimed over a period of time (just hard time limit or any other factor that could limit a realm expanding too quickly), additional recently claimed neighbouring TW rules?
- A thingwall that has been recently claimed cannot be opened for claiming for x number of days
