Add wound heal chance to questing!

Let us heal wounds by completing quests and having a chance to get reward to heal any wound by a certain amount.

Adding more rewards to the most insufferable system ever won't magically turn it in something fun.
Until quest are in the state they are in (put your pecker in anthill, take a naked swim in Ganges river and others forms of humiliation ritual), there is no sense to add something to it.

Not bad, but there's one downside. I almost always have some very small wounds that heal over time on their own.

I'd rather get exp or hunger reduction than a removal of 2 bum burn 3 nicks and knacks wounds. It's feels like getting yet another +2 psy gilding leaf, which is a shit-tier reward.

I wish we could choose the reward or have some influence on what we receive, it's just too random right now.

I guess not being able to choose a reward is a pretty good argument.
I would also like to see a choice in rewards so they can add more varied options.

It'd be kinda cool to try and force heavily wounded people to go outside so they have a good chance of dying when I find them.

That said, radiant quests suck ass and nothing is ever going to make them fun. IMO, rewards should be attached to fun parts of the game people actually want to do.

Tbh I have no idea how quest system can be improved (or if it even can). Procedurally generated quests are notoriously boring and unfun in all games I can remember that have them. Feels like the only reason those are in the game is to justify CHA attribute. Either way I don’t see the point because as it has already been said this reward will likely heal minor injuries that would’ve healed on their own fairly quickly anyway and if Jorb ever adds it you can be 100% sure it won’t heal anything that actually matters like nerve damage and other permanent injueries because “too ez”

gotta allow us to choose from a variety of rewards. If Im grinding exp and I get a midge bite healed ima quit

Gilding leaves and gilding stones are such low level buffs they are only useful to beginning players, who will not yet be getting them. (I leave mine in squirrel caches and hope they are found by someone for whom they would actually be useful.) I suggest have the value of the buff scale with your survival skill; the first ones you find may be 1-5 points, by the time your survival is 200 they may be +30 points or more, survival of 500 may find gilding items of +80 or more. Now the possibility of finding such items makes quests more pertinent to advanced players, a +80 to strength or dex is not to be dismissed. Or instead of a set number of points the gilding item could give a percentage, thus benefiting anyone who receives it equally.

kill the hermit!
run after the hermit in combat mode until it runs out of water!
break the boat under the hermit, and tell Jorb about your adventures!
deliver the hermit's corpse to Julia!
strip naked, put on a spruce hat and defeat the hermit!

Suggested this to jorbtar a while back. Was being considered as a way to enhance pvp turn round and pve recovery via activity rather than inactivity.
