Re: jackasses who live near kind hearts village
well if I remember correctly when I got there you was still very much in the area..but you know there is no reason for you to keep going on and on about this..It is over and done..say a prayer that you walked away a little scratched up but still alive and stay away from his place..you are dragging something out that really isn't nothing. Now had he killed you then yes I can see where you should be here all night whinning about it..Please for the sake of better drama drop it..you could possiably keep on until it gets worse and no one wants that..No that was not a threat....

I had someone in my village do that aswell a while ago.Shadowstar009 wrote:As a matter of fact, here is what the area in question looked like a very short time before our encounter:melzar wrote:yeah sure it wasnt claimed. got any screenshots?
Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to deal with this. Real life calls.
All I will say is that you should be happy you're still alive, and that I'll be watching.
Some people seem to love killing animals that aren't Claimed/Palisaded in i think it's a sad thing because they take some work to tame!
I understand why you did this if you look at the picture you clearly see a griefer has done this just for fun.

Re: jackasses who live near kind hearts village
Just to be clear, I fully realize that I could have prevented the loss of my cows/crops by setting up a claim or palisade. I honestly don't care that much about losing that stuff. Sure, it's annoying, but it's nothing that isn't easily replaced. Rest assured, my real valuables are well guarded.
As Spacecas mentioned earlier, we have had problems with thieves and vandals in the area in the past. I know for a fact that Meltzar was standing right on top of my freshly pillaged fields when I logged on to the farming alt who lived in that other pen. (Memorization/description is a nifty tool.) The only reason he's still alive is because of the very faint possibility that he just happened to stumble upon it after the real pillager...a situation which I still find quite unlikely.

Not trying to start anything or say anything negative against you but unless you get the claim and pali up, this scenario is going to occur more often. Can you specify what do you mean that your crops got plunder? Were they simply gone or lying on the ground or replanted? If they were gone, it is would be too wide of a time frame between your last checking and this situation to really say who is the real perpetrator. If they were lying on the ground, the guy here is possibly the one that did it but not solid enough to say due to that time frame since it takes some time for dropped crops to decay (if you are not in the field). If they were replanted, whoever did it thought it was kind to give back what they took though if you are concerned about quality being ruined, better bring them into more protected area and leave the outside ones for free picking.Shadowstar009 wrote:Just to be clear, I fully realize that I could have prevented the loss of my cows/crops by setting up a claim or palisade. If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Y'kno, kinda seems like you already were when you decided you'd go ahead and take people to your little area. You should really set up a palisade soon, always walk around with water in inventory if the area is dangerous, and your hf inside a house, inside a palisade. Don't talk to strangers, punch their shit.melzar wrote:i dont care i wont be intimidated by them, if they wanted to kill me they could have, if they still want to kill me they can. im not gonna pack up and leave just because some wannabe raiders think they can push around anyone they want and get away with it. in fact, i hope they do get whats coming to them for what they did to me.

1. Give hq armor and weapons to both factions
2. Watch
3. ???
4. Profits!!!
I might have another simple solution for this problem:
Faction A: Build a palisade and claim around your crops.
Faction B: Build a palisade and claim around your house, put your hearth in it.
Levelling melee and getting a decent sword might also help.
