How about a fireplace buildable in house/cellar to provide a cosy environment, gives slight boost to sewing/int stat? also maybe curios can be put in a table in a house to make studying curios faster since you are actually sitting down to study the curio instead of being distracted by a raging boar.

curio table would encourage more "afk play", which is never a good thing imo. the belief slider mechanic is annoying enough, with lots of people (and alts
