Again.
In fact, batter, pork itself and onion are not really used too.
Dunno, I use plenty of pork for lamb sausage. I use plenty of batter for fish fingers, but I can see how people who don't buy fish through barter stall wouldn't use it much. Onions are fine IMO.

perch is like the most common fish?
Word. I had a hard time catching anything but perch last time I tried.

It's not so much about adding more FEP sources as it is about giving use to some less useful ingredients. Some other things which need more recipes are chants, hazelnuts and eggs.
In that case, I want to add boiled mussels to the list (if there are foods that incorporate them, anyway). I have cupboards packed with them in my attempts to get pearls and the people in my current village are not eating them nearly fast enough. And my dexterity is high enouugh, so I don't want to eat them, myself; I guess I'm just gonna start dropping them on the floor. I also have a problem with having way too many carrots and beetroots, so I just use them as fodder currently.
I find my flax seeds are especially useless. Are they used for anything other than fodder and planting flax?
flax seeds could be used for a source of industrial oil if there was a need for such a thing, or they could be ground up and used as an additive in bread. currently, fodder, grass, and planting flax are the only uses. fodder is a pretty acceptable use though, i mean there certainly aren't going to be any recipes for tea, tobacco, or hemp seeds (although hemp seeds would be great for oil or food additives as well, hulled hemp seeds are really delicious and very high in omega 3s).
carrots and beetroots are in a good amount of recipes, imo, the problem is that they grow so much faster than the peas and onions that are in a lot of those recipes. but you can just eat them raw.
not sure about the mussel thing, personally i've stopped gathering q10 mussels. wouldn't really mind some additional mussel recipes, but i'd prefer some recipes for salmon, pike, and sturgeon (other than fishsticks or roasting).
