And that's why communism isnt a good idea in this game. A single wall breach in a communist town, and boom! Town-wide raid/rape. Capitalism is the way to go, with each person having his own wall. That way much less is lost in each robbery (or, if the raiders are very strong/determined, they would atleast be slowed down before they manage to raid the whole village).

I want to mount beehives on top of my wall so anyone who tries to break it gets swarmed.

I'm not sure as I haven't been on for ages, but I would hazard a guess that Laketown's biggest problem is its largely inactive population. If we had the sort of active player base that bottleneck has rugs would have more trouble raiding the place while we're not there. At the very least watermellon face wouldn't have been able to stroll in afterwards and smear his feces over what's left.

In other news it looks like rugs and voodoodog are full of shit, who would have guessed. On the plus side I've got my own version of the client connecting and working ^_^ it's just a matter of time (3 weeks to a couple of months) until we've got a good farming interface now

Ah the wind is blowing, fresh air makes it's way into a once stench filled enclosed area.

Laketown does infact not need any outer walls, so no harm was done. Worst thing that could happen is that someone steals all baskets. That would be a tragedy, really.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
