decay in wurm was only used to make sure the world had stuff everywhere and to put some value on your skill.
I think we really need to be able to repair stuff. Mainly armor. Right now i just replace mine as it's just leather. But you can't do that with a steel breast plate for example. repairing 100 hitpoints with 1 steel bar on steel armor and 25 hitpoints with iron on iron armor for example.
