Nope. We were 4 all the time, didn't need any backup. At the very end one more villager came to pick up the loot.

Yeah 2 on you and 2 on Grim, He went down pretty fast though, so as soon as he was down I went straight to you, I managed to catch up somehow, not sure where SFS went.
