Why are Bats so Aggressive?

At the very very least, if not changing their natural response to being approached to fleeing like rabbits, maybe make them spawn outside of a certain tile radius from the cave entrance. They're ridiculously strong and aggressive for what is in nature a skittish animal.

They spawn in trees, too. This seems to be fairly rare however. Thankfully.

I think that they just spawn at night in trees. In my time wandering around at night i saw bats everywhere, then they suddenly stopped spawning in the day.

This is true, and they're also questionably more aggro than in caves

Well, I'm running out of free playtime and I'm not really inclined to do much more than verify since bats are going to just continually wreck my hhp. All of my stuff is in my cave, and every time I log in there's a bat or two spawned right next to my cabinets.

You can avoid boars, bears, and badgers. But in narrow caves, when you can't even crawl past and end up waking them up, bats are crazy overpowered right now.

Also, just noticed that all the aggressive animals in Haven & hearth start with "B".

My money is on "billygoat" for the next aggressive animal. Mountain spawn, knocks you off of cliffs. Good ti-- wait why am I giving Jorb ideas?
