You just have to move to reset the party arrow... 1 post before broAggressivelyNormal wrote:Reset = changing instance, relogging
I disagree with that assertion, over long distance at leastGrable wrote:You just have to move to reset the party arrow... 1 post before broAggressivelyNormal wrote:Reset = changing instance, relogging
I tested it over very long distances (7+ hours of walk away) and it has always worked like this. If you weren't inside a house/cave (party arrows don't work at all then), you only had to move a tile or two to reset the arrow.AggressivelyNormal wrote:I disagree with that assertion, over long distance at least
Perhaps it was fixed recently, either on your client on or in game - but over the first 3 days of the world I am 100% certain moving a few tiles did not reset the arrow's locationGrable wrote:I tested it over very long distances (7+ hours of walk away) and it has always worked like this. For one, the first 3 days didn't have global party arrows, you had to be close for them to show up.AggressivelyNormal wrote:Perhaps it was fixed recently, either on your client on or in game - but over the first 3 days of the world I am 100% certain moving a few tiles did not reset the arrow's location
I meant first few after it was introduced, and I don't think it took 72 hours for the arrow to be reintroduced.. but I haven't left my room since launch so time is a tad bit of a blurGrable wrote:For one, the first 3 days didn't have global party arrows, you had to be close for them to show up.AggressivelyNormal wrote:Perhaps it was fixed recently, either on your client on or in game - but over the first 3 days of the world I am 100% certain moving a few tiles did not reset the arrow's location
Dunno. This world and all the previous worlds I played you only had to move to refresh the arrow. It might be a different bug what you experienced.AggressivelyNormal wrote:I meant first few after it was introduced, and I don't think it took 72 hours for the arrow to be reintroduced.. but I haven't left my room since launch so time is a tad bit of a blur
I remember it being the same in world 7, but I'm not certain about that. Honestly 99% of the reason I'm here is because I wanted to choose where to place some happy little treesGrable wrote:Dunno.
