As others have said, Winged Helmets aren't hard to make if you know what you're doing. I'm a hermit, I work full-time during the week, and I've had the resources and skills to make one for several days now (should I want to make one; I currently have no need for one). It should be absolutely trivial for a group working together, someone without full-time work, or even someone just rushing for wrought to make one much faster.
