People killing you in pvp game arent immature, they are better than you.
You are just bad at this game. Devs dont care about carebears like you. go away.

ALSO I think devs are losing revenue because they arent robbing banks.
They would get much more money for seatribe if they robbed a big bank with lot of cash.
Why they arent robbing banks? I think their business model should be rethinked?

This has actually been one of the more peaceful worlds has it not? Most of the fighting seems to have been between larger factions.

Can somebody explain the business model of this game to me?

The other day, a few Russian players just killed 3 peaceful players with paid subscriptions for no reason. Those players quit the game and I lost all my hermit neighbors.

So you are basically allowing a few immature people to make all the friendly and peaceful players leave - players who paid to play the game. So you are losing revenue and nice people and you are stuck with a few morons as the only people who play?

Is that intended?

We will stop playing as well because there is no chance for us to play the game. If we leave our base we get killed by people we can not do anything about - people who killed dozens of other players who were nice guys and who made the game enjoyable.

I am just trying to understand. Why not allow people who did not skill "rage" to disable Pvp?

Anyway. I will not renew my subscription and our region now features 12 abandoned villages. If that is what the game is about ... ;-)
I agree the model is bad but I think the issue isn't pvp in itself, but rather the binary systems for crime for example, and also poor promotion to new players. The game seems to be targeted at those who already play it and are emotionally attached to it. I think this game will be awesome in 10 years, possibly when the old playerbase has quit or when someone else clones it and fixes all the bad dev policies.

Not necessarily, just the fighting you hear about. For example, I've been able to find a lot of larger villages from the large amounts of murder scents they left everywhere - especially at noob settlements.

Hmm, yea it's been awhile since I've traveled and I guess a lot of people are getting bored and powerful now. It's hard for anybody wanting to be a ranger when so many scents are left by people who are part of a large faction. Nobody is going to start a village war over some dead hermits.

Safety in numbers though. I've been part of a fairly sizable town since world start. We've kept to ourselves for the most part and have largely been left alone. If you want to hermit out in the wilderness then you have to expect in this game that one day bad people will come. If you aren't willing to join a town then it's not a flaw in game mechanics, its a flaw in your playstyle.

It's also ridiculous to state that there are no repercussions to committing crimes and leaving scents. Scents attract attention. I remember one thread in the moot not so long ago where a small town left scents, attracted attention and they all ended up dead. I'll go one step further and say this happens a lot more often than is obvious because the forums only display a small fraction of what's going on in-game.

I never said a word about losing/wasting money. If you actually read what is being said, you'll save a lot of time and energy. I wanted to know whether this is intended and as it appears to be - I'll just stop playing as I don't enjoy virtual environments which feature a filter that only keeps underdeveloped people playing.

At least we can't say your saltiness is underdeveloped. Oh no, it's bulging and throbbing from behind your every comment =)

You chose harsh game, got some negative experiences, and decided to call everyone else names. We feel ya. Now go try Hello Kitty Magical Adventure or something.

I never wrote that I got killed - is anybody here capable of reading? I wasn't killed. All my neighbors were. I was promoting the game on twitch earlier using a different settlement and I was helping my neighbors to get started - so the player-base would increase. But naturally my neighbors quit after being one-shot-killed by groups of 3-5 people without saying a word.

I just asked whether this is intended because I won't be promoting things like that. If there is no penalty for just killing people left and right then it's just not for me. :-)

Thanks for all the comments.
