An idea

Make the adders spawn occasionally under old logs when lifted and have their poison cause 150 hard damage to make a noobs life more fun

Catch Adder -> Extract Poison

Coat arrow
Poison food
Craft medicine (including antiophidics/anitvenom)
Cook on cauldron with bat wing and fish eye for random effects

= a dream

Very curious to see how poison works... and also wondering if snakes are just caught, such as rabbits, or if they are hunted?

Ash, limestone and rendered animal fat (which you get by rendering fat cuts which you either make using 3 cuts of meat or find when butchering an animal)
