No, what's the benefit to the game? Why not just give everyone free LP no matter what? If that's the only reason to add these 'monuments', then why even make them 'monuments' in the first place?Luanes wrote: What's the benefit of this either? A way to get free LP by keeping your computer running?

Re: New study - Monuments | Master pieces
I liked the sakiji suggestion the fate thing is really useful.
And i liked too suggestion of aura bonus for small villages. Thanks for the feedback, this type of suggestion / discussion that i was looking for!
@NotJimmy97, sorry, i didn't understand what you just said. You quoted what i said, but what i said was a quote about what you said. Hahaha

And i answered :
Well, i want more the idea of creating stuff that would create "things" unique or special, and increase the interaction with another players / villages. Don't need to be free LP it could be another thing. There's why i want to discuss it

Here's the reality of what this would do though: players would never log off on one of these monuments outside of their own base, because it would be the perfect opportunity for people to snipe their character while they aren't even online.Luanes wrote: Well, i want more the idea of creating stuff that would create "things" unique or special, and increase the interaction with another players / villages. my house is behind a palisade, making my basement behind 2 palisades above and 3 below for level 2 mines. if i was worried someone is coming after me for simply griefing/fun of killing me then i'll sit underground behind 5 palisades and a village claim shield (i keep walls around every entrance)NotJimmy97 wrote:Here's the reality of what this would do though: players would never log off on one of these monuments outside of their own base, because it would be the perfect opportunity for people to snipe their character while they aren't even online.Luanes wrote: Well, i want more the idea of creating stuff that would create "things" unique or special, and increase the interaction with another players / villages. i'll even leave my gates open, the visitor debuff stops any crimes like assault
now who wants to waste 16hrs for the shield and break 5 palisades to kill a hermit? and if you're not a hermit, get some brickwalls around your monument if it's so precious. if you're still paranoid, don't leave a character online, simple

Re: New study - Monuments | Master pieces
Yeah! And if we have villages specialized on this kind of stuff, if someone attack he will be "exposed". Many would be able to attack the attacker. But i'm trying to think another benefits instead of just raw LP. Raw lp is useful but is really "meh" about the fun. Maybe, when you stare a monument, they could have a chance to give the character an epiphany, and increase the quality of anything of their related abilities when crafting? Like FinalQuality = Quality * EpiphanyModifier ?
Then increasing the monument quality would just increase the chance of epiphany occur.
Anymore ideas? ahahah

Monuments could be fun, but I'm not sure I like the stare to gain LP part. Arguably realm monuments do something similar.

I will try to think again in another "bonus" possibilities, because I really like the idea of hiring people for making such creations on our vicinity. Maybe after staring some monuments receive a bonus chance to find fated itens? Or to activate an experience event?
