With the pack animal-ception being fixed, I hope this will be considered more.
That people even bothered with the pack rack bug was interesting to me, since it was a huge annoyance to do. Unloading each pack animal, pulling out each stored item one at a time, it really showed the lengths people were willing to go just to avoid other bulk transport options like wagons, or make up for the lack of vertical transport we don't have yet across z-levels.
